Richard Gingery, Jr. is the co-owner and office manager of Whispering Pines, and is one of the leading veterinary behaviorists in Northern California. He has had over 20 years of veterinary behavior and animal handling experience, and continues to work daily as a veterinary assistant so he can provide the highest quality of care to your pets. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1989 and received a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Chico State in 1995.
He has given behavioral consultations on cats, dogs and birds since 1993 and has taught five week long puppy classes six to seven times a year since 1995. His behavior techniques, including Learn to Earn, have proven to be very effective in even the most difficult cases.
Rich and his wife, Gina, have two children and too many pets to mention individually (including cats, dogs and birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, a ferret, a rabbit and a chinchilla). He is an avid football fan (especially one team who wears the silver and black), and is very active in local education and the school board.
